1. I learned to organize my thoughts on paper and take better notes. Especially by doing the observation log.
2. Trying to decide what exactly my project would be about. I had a hard time finding sources and being able to interview people. I think maybe if I had chosen a different topic or a group of people that is readily accessible to me it would have made things easier. Also time was a factor.
3. Someone at my work knew hippie type people and set me up with them to observe. That really helped me out since my trip downtown didn’t work out as well.
4. ….
5. This assignment was the hardest because I had projects in my other classes due at the same time.
6. The blog was fun however, due to time constraints it would have been better for me if instead of the required 2 posts every week, we just had a total due at the end of the class.

1. I worked really hard at getting my citations right for this paper, I think that that has been a wealk point for me.I learned to be an observer without involving myself.I feel that I look at sibling relationships differently after the interviews I conducted. 2. The most challenging aspect of this assignment for me was conducting the interviews. I was way out of my comfort zone. 3. Actually writing the paper was comfortable because I found the material interesting. 4. The most useful aspect of this unit was having to stop and look at the world around us and consider how differnt things affect who we all are everyday. 5. It was fine as it was. 6. I actually have enjoyed the blog more than I had expected. But I probably should make mine more personal for it to be interesting and I just don’t feel comfortable doing that. I am a private person and sharing my private life so publicly creeps me out a little. That’s why I have stuck with brief summaries of news stories with a little of my view thrown in, rather than giving out stories from my everyday life. I don’t think I could get more out of blogging. The blog assignment did make me look around around for things to write about, that’s a good thing.
