Please briefly describe some of the mechanical skills (citation, format) and critical thinking skills (what scientists value) you learned, if any, in this unit. What did you expect or want to learn but did not?
-
What was the most challenging aspect of this unit for you? Why so?
-
What was the easiest or most comfortable aspect of this unit for you? Why so?

What was the most useful aspect of this unit?
-
What would you recommend changing about the instruction, assignment(s), or pacing of this unit?

1- I learned how to correctly (hopefully) format a lab report. And learned how to use scientific method to test a hypothesis. The thing I had hoped to learn but didn’t was how to record my results on a line graph.

2- The most challenging aspect of this assignment was actually writing the lab report with such limited information. I felt I was being repetitive. 3- Actually conducting the experiment was the easy part, I felt that went very well. 4-The most useful part of this unit was learning to use scientific method and putting together a basic lab report. 5-Nothing. 6- I started the blog with some fear.I had fear of computers, fear of publicly displaying my writing and thoughts. But as I have blogged a few times, I think it’s actually fun and interesting. I also think it’s good practice for me to research current events and write about them.

1/ i learnt what and how a lab report was developed and how to write about it. i expected to learn how also to make the experiment all come together in a scentific way and i feel that i done that.2/ the most challenging part of my experiment was reaching the highest water temperature. it took a lot longer than the other two. also i guess i could say also when i cut my finger it was difficult to finish the experiment.3/ i felt that after i did the experiment putting it all in writing was easy for me cause i actually had all the results in my head and in notes. 4/ i would also again say the writing of the lab report with detailed notes. 5/ use scissors not razor blade for cutting of materials. 6/ well i missed class the day of training of blog which put me way behind on knowing how to use it correctly but now i feel that i know how to do enough to get by with what i have to do for class..
